Sponsored Publications and Advertising
Sponsored Publications and Advertising
Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal is funded in whole by donors.
Unlike many publications, Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal has a no-advertising policy. The Journal is supported solely via donations or sponsorships and collects no fees from authors or subscribers (free to all).
As a scholarly publication, the Editorial Board wanted to ensure that there would be absolutely no conflict of interest or implied conflict of interest. In addition, they wanted to provide readers with a content-centered experience, undistracted by advertisements of limited interest to our wide-ranging audience.
The journal does not accept advertisements or paid sponsorships by organizations or companies. Likewise, the journal does not recommend other organizations, other publications, nor provide links to such content, nor to content that is not peer-reviewed. Kindly note that all requests for providing links to external organizations not directly connected with the journal (such as CrossRef, etc), will be politely denied.
Instead, companies that might normally advertise via cross-linking or paid advertisements are encouraged to establish a sponsorship for Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal. In this way, their company becomes associated with the dissemination of up-to-date scientific and medical publications, without advertising any specific product, leading to a possible conflict of interest.
Individuals and philanthropic organizations are encouraged to make donations via Rambam Health Care Campus, designated specifically for Rambam Maimonides Medical Journal. In this way, you will have a direct impact on ensuring free access to important research, medical findings, scientific data, and more, worldwide.
